The latest Cyanogen mod can be installed in the Sony XperiaAcro S Smartphone, which will directly support the Android 4.1 Jellybean firmware update, along with some latest features and Google App Package. First you have to check whether your device has rooted or not. Which is possible through the Root Checker app that is available in the Google PLAY store for free. Make sure once your device is rooted the warranty get void. There is an option that your device can unroot only by re-applying official firmware update which will be available in the future.
Before starting the process, one important thing is to be done is to backup all your data, so that you can restore the data if any data gets deleted or corrupted. To perform backup, you should not use any of the companies PC suites because the custom Rom firmware will not be detected.
From the path Setting->Application->Development-> USB debugging. You have to enable the USB Debugging Mode, confirm your battery should have 40% minimum power, in order to prevent the shutdown of the device.
Procedure to Install Cyanogens Mod 10 firmware in SONY XperiaAcro S:
Now you have to Download the Cyanogen mod 10 firmware packages including the Google Apps package to your computer, later connect your Sony Acro to your system with your original USB cable and drop the downloaded zip files into your device.
